Information for current members about the transfer of the membership register

Dear member of Talko ry,

On July 2, 2022, we have made a decision to transfer our association's membership register to Kide.app. Accordingly, we will abandon the use of the current member register service during this fall. We hope that you will activate your membership on the Kide.app side.

''Kide.app is a service that connects students, as well as events, products, memberships and experiences intended for them. Kide.app can be found in the Google Play and Apple Store -app stores, and you can also use it easily on a browser, phone, tablet or computer. The most common bank and credit cards, online banking and Pivo & MobilePay can be used as payment methods. Kide.app has more than 280,000 registered students, and correspondingly more than 750 student organizations use it as part of their association's activities.''

In the future, Talko ry's memberships, event tickets and products can be found in one place; in Kide.app. The system automatically checks the validity of the memberships, so it will be easier to obtain membership-priced event tickets and products in the future. As a member of our association, you can conveniently edit and update information related to your user account or membership in Kide.app in the 'My account' view and via the membership card found in Kide.app's wallet.

As our existing member, you can activate your membership for free. Go to Kide.app, create a username or log in with your existing credentials, and activate your membership from the following link:

Invite: Talko ry's additional association meeting
January 24, 2024
Talko ry wishes to welcome all its members to an additional association meeting on January 24, 2024, starting at 17:00. The meeting will be held at Pasila campus, and the specific classroom will be announced later.
Each member of Talko ry has the right to participate in the meeting. Please arrive on time, as we will be checking valid memberships before the meeting starts.

On Wednesday 24nd of January, one additional member will be elected to the Talko board. At the moment, we are lacking a marketing and communications coordinator. If you are interested in the board duties, apply to join either in person at the meeting or by sending an application in advance to toimisto@talko.fi. See you at the association meeting!
